Program Aim
This programme presents practical approaches to managing HR records and will provide participants with good practice tools and methods to implement sustainable improvements.
Learning objectives
You will be able to:
- Understand the context of Human Resource Records and Information Management
- Recognize the business processes they support, including recruitment, job evaluation, personnel development, promotion, discipline and termination
- Manage the information these processes generate to maximise effectiveness and efficiency
- Explain the special requirements of Human Resource files, including confidentiality and privacy, retention and disposal issues
- Explore strategies for managing personnel records in paper, electronic and in a mixed paper/electronic environment
- Review a range of strategies to enhance personnel records management systems.
