Course Overview:
Program Aim
The programme aim is twofold. Firstly, to give an overview of how to develop and implement a Workforce Development Plan to enable you to equip your organization to meet future challenges. Secondly, to enable you to ensure that your pay and reward systems are relevant, equitable and reflect the values of your organization.
Learning objectives
Yoo will be able to:
- Review the strategic context and challenges of your organisation
- Analyse the current and future performance of your organisation
- Develop organisational plans to meet your future business needs
- Analyse and evaluate jobs appropriate to the organization's needs and be able to build and manage the supporting infrastructure and systems
- Understand and evaluate the relationship between reward and performance
- Design and manage pay and grading systems that are responsive to change in the internal and external environment.

- Workforce Development Planning
- Establishing your organisational context and challenges
- Workforce profiling and identifying skill gaps
- Analysing workforce issues to identify the components of the plan
- Aligning the pay system with organisational strategy.
- Job Evaluation
- Developing an understanding of the importance of pay and rewards systems
- Developing the skills and techniques to evaluate jobs
- Selecting the appropriate job evaluation systems
- Developing, implementing and maintaining job evaluation.
